This intaglio print was made from the 3" by 6" copper plate shown (the plate is not for sale). The copper was etched using a resist and mordant (acid bath). This is a wildly fun and somewhat unpredictable method of printmaking.
The image was drawn from the brown, black, yellow and white skeletons of summer's bounty in my February yard.
